After a busy and eventful free agency period, the NFL draft is back and on Thursday night, 257 prospects heard their names called in Green Bay. Despite being labeled as one of the best classes in years, 2025’s class is not without its question marks and projections about who will go where have been all over the map.
As for who actually picked the first pick, that was the Tennessee Titans choosing Miami quarterback Cam Ward, a move that was widely expected and a good value considering the need to upgrade the position in the franchise’s current building. But after that, things got interesting as several trades were made to shake up the order.
In the end, a pair of teams traded up to select defensive lineman T-Mac McMillan and pass rusher Jalon Walker for the Cleveland Browns and Philadelphia Eagles respectively. The latter team also grabbed Alabama’s Darnell Campbell, who will add to a defense that lost multiple starters this offseason and has struggled to rush the ball in recent seasons.
